We have just gotten word of the crash of a rescue helicopter enroute to rescue a pregnant woman at the scene of a multicar crash on the A-4 highway near Wroclaw, Poland.

On board the helicopter was the pilot, a medical doctor and Czesław Buśko, Anna Wozniak's brother, who was a medical nurse. Anna's brother and the pilot were killed in the crash.

May they Rest In Peace.

I would like to share a story with you which was aired in the Polish television last week, following the accident.

The reporter talked to an elderly woman who walked thru a deep snow to the remote rescue helicopter crash site to light a candle there. She has said she felt she had to do that because some years ago that same crew saved her husband's life.

We often do not realize how deep or how far our kind actions reach.
