Local Catholics Join Polish Pilgrimage in Chicago

Blistering temperatures didn't stop the recent pilgrimage of thousands of Polish Catholics on their 35 mile walk from Chicago's South Side, originating from the Church of St. Michael through Munster, IN, to the Fathers of Polish Carmelite Monastery and Salvatorian Fathers Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine in observance of the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Five members of the Polish Catholic Mission (PCM) of Memphis made the pilgrimage.

The pilgrimage is an act of faithful community of the Church.  The pilgrimage brings together people from across the United States.  The organization of this event is superb, starting from the logistic needs to spiritual fulfillment.

Five members of the Polish Catholic Mission (PCM) of Memphis made the recent Pilgrimage including (from left) Zosia, Magda, Kazia, Basia, and Krystyna.
